Valentine’s Day is one of the most common holidays for couples to get engaged on. From simple and romantic proposals, to wild and extravagant, it’ll be your very own special memory!
There are many versions of where the Valentine’s Day holiday came from, but the most common version dates back long ago when the Roman Empire forbade their soldiers to marry during wartime because it was thought that single soldiers performed better. Saint Valentine of Rome went against the Roman Empire and was imprisoned for performing weddings for those soldiers. On the last day of his life, February 14th, St. Valentine wrote a letter to his sweetheart and signed it ‘From your Valentine’
